9-11 October: Development Education Partnership Fair - Vienna

NGOs from EU, Romania and Bulgaria are invited to participate in the Development Education (DE) Partnership Fair which TRIALOG in cooperation with CONCORD is organising in Vienna on October 9-11, 2006. The event is organised in view of the expected EC funds of 10m EUR for Development Education (DE) activities in the new EU member states (NMS) and Romania, Bulgaria.

The specific objective of this DE Partnership Fair is to initiate partnership between European NGOs which will result in joint Development Education actions in NMS, Romania and Bulgaria to be co-financed by the European Commission under the budget line 21-02-03. The overall objective goes beyond this goal and is to support the establishment of long-term partnerships for long-term cooperation. This cooperation should be beneficial for all partners.

The concept of the DE Partnership Fair has been discussed between TRIALOG, DEEEP, 3 CONCORD working groups and different DE experts over the last months and we hope that the proposed event will raise your interest and will be useful for you and your NGOs.
